Update from Craigers

Word up Rock Fucks. This is Craigers here, the
drummer of bad neighborz. This is an update to all
the bad neighborz crew and fans who are wondering why
we aren't playing new shows or recording new tracks
for our debut album. . . YET. I will try to keep this
short and sweet.

The timing couldn't have been worse with bad neighborz
picking up momentum with battle of the bands
performances on the horizon, underground San Diego
music magazines looking to feature us, constant
feedback and business being transacted through
badneighborz.com, and the arrival of a brand new Mac
G5 computer and ProTools in our own Pompous Pie
studio. But life is unpredictable and on October 28th
I was diagnosed with a form of Cancer, a Non-Hodgkin's
Lymphoma. It is not your cookie cutter case, so don't
try to look it up on the Internet because you will be
getting incorrect information. The important thing is
that I am having a quick response to the chemotherapy
treatment and am already getting better.

I have moved back up to the San Francisco Bay Area,
where I am originally from, to undergo the duration of
my treatment in the comfort and support of my parents
house. Don't worry, I brought my drum kit and will be
keeping up on my chops whenever possible and will be
ready and focused as hell to rock out our set list and
to create the new generation of badneighborz hitz
through the bad neighborz brainchild music machine.
All of the other members of bad neighborz; Luke,
Piers, DJ, and Ryan are all staying busy at Pompous
Pie Studio and are staying focused for our comeback.

So, send me your prayers, good vibes, positive energy,
and fists in the air in solute to the Church of
Rock'n'Roll and faster than you can say, "bad
neighborz are so good, other bands should just quit,"
I'll be back in SD and bustin some beats.

Municipal Code Violation

This email is to warn you that the stickers advertising your website,
products and services that you are placing adjacent to the roads in the
Pacific Beach and Mission Beach areas of San Diego are a violation of
the San Diego Municipal Code paragraph 142.1206, that states in part:

It is unlawful to place, post, paint or secure any sign, pennant, flag,
banner, balloon, or similar attention-seeking device on public property
or within the public right-of-way. Further, it is unlawful to place any
lettering, card, poster, sticker or notice of any kind on any curb,
sidewalk, street, pole, post, utility box, hydrant, bridge, tree,
building, or other surface that is located on public property or in the
public right-of-way.

In addition, paragraph 121.0502 of the Municipal Code specifies that
the legally responsible party for the placement or posting of such
stickers is presumed to be the person or organization whose name,
telephone, facsimile, address or URL that appears on the stickers.
Please note that this law does not make a distinction as to who
physically places the sticker. Where you benefit from their placement
and are responsible for controlling their distribution, you will be
charged under this law.

This law provides for assessing sticker removal costs and civil
penalties that currently are at $100 per sticker for repeat offenders.

Our communities consider your approach to advertising as graffiti and
are very aggressive in removing it from our streets, usually within
eight hours or less from the beach areas. Your stickers have been
removed and are currently being held as evidence for prosecution by the
City Attorney if you do not cease this activity immediately and take
steps to prevent it in the future. Given the number and pattern of
placement of these stickers, it is clear that this activity is not just
a random occurrence.

This will be your only warning.

We appeal to you as a San Diego business owner to act more responsibly
in your future advertising. Area merchants are usually willing to place
promotional information INSIDE their store front windows in an effort
to curb graffiti and property damage in their communities. Surely this
is preferable to a business model that plans for an expenditure of $100
per sticker that has a street life expectancy of only a few hours.

The Office of Neighborhood Code Compliance is charged with enforcing
this portion of the Municipal Code and subsequent sticker removal.

Hi Ryan,
I checked out www.badneighborz.com and I definitely dug you guys...we
should play a few shows for sure. I love the lighter/bottle opener you
gave me too...where did you get those? Let us know cuz we'd love to
get some of these one day. How much for how many of the lighters???

And while we're on the subject of shows, would you guys like to play a
show with us at Blind Melon's in PB? I just confirmed w/my singer that
Nov. 17 is the date and we're looking for one more band to play that
night with us. So check it out w/your boys and if you guys are available
let us know asap. You can call my singer directly at 619-972-0805 and
confirm with him since he's the one that primarily books most of our
shows. His name is Patrick Mack and he's got all the show details (when
he can actually get a hold of Jerry...HA!!). If you can't get a hold
